Our story (so far…)
Four years ago, we were working for design agencies that use only cookie-cutter, same-old-same-old, I-could-do-this-in-my-sleep designs. We saw how it affected the people we worked with and the clients we worked for, and we’d had enough.
We wanted to apply our skills and knowledge to bigger ideas and better products. So, we created Baal & Spots. Many wireframes and color palettes later, Baal & Spots became a thriving design agency that employs top talent from around the world and creates beautiful, unconventional, and useful websites.
We got to this place by focusing on our clients and working with our clients’ individual budgets instead of trying to upsell them on services that they did not need.
We chose to approach our clients as individual entities with particular needs. Instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all strategy, we got to know each company. This familiarity allowed us to streamline operations, assist with internal and external communication, and implement changes that work for both the client and their customers.
To put it another way, we’re not in the bandaid business: we don’t slap a quick fix on an issue and hope it heals by itself. In an industry that’s known for overcharging their clients, taking them for a ride, and then burning them, B+S actually wants to help the businesses we work with. That’s how we’ve managed to create such big results for our clients in such a short amount of time.

Where we are now
Over the past few years, we’ve established ourselves as a marketing agency that is relatable, transparent, and exceedingly good at what we do.
Our clients especially appreciate the integrity and honesty that we bring to our partnerships. We don’t send automated reports that are skewed to make us look good no matter what happens. When you meet with us, you get to see the good, the bad, and the ugly. That way, we can work together to recalibrate and get you the results you want.
We are also known for our problem-solving abilities. We do handle standard digital marketing issues, but we are particularly fond of tackling the kind of headache-inducing problems that nobody has yet been able to solve. (Yes, we’re nerds.)
Because we stay on top of the latest technology, we’re able to propose creative solutions to client problems during the initial interview. That, and we’re able to explain said creative solutions in a way that our clients can understand. We’re techies, but we don’t bury our clients in tech jargon.

The future at B+S
The team at B+S dreams big. We’ve set ourselves up to be a global, design-led agency that works with bigger brands. As we continue to expand, we will take on more clients from across the globe, build innovative products, create one-of-a-kind immersive experiences, and continue to bring 1000% effort to what we do.
A huge part of our expansion will be building a larger team, a team of the best creative minds from all over the world. Frankly, we’re already pretty jazzed by the sheer number of problem solvers we get to call our colleagues, and we can’t wait to see our B+S family and company culture grow.
After all, we’re not your typical sweatshop of an ad agency. Instead of taking our young talent and putting them through the wringer, we’ve built a marketing haven in which designers, writers, and other creatives can put their energy into making something that’s different. We strive for a “think-tank” work environment that encourages our employees to HAVE A LIFE and pursue their own projects if desired.
